Kirkland & Ellis has put pen to paper on a lease deal that can see it shift its London operations from the iconic ‘Gherkin’ constructing to a model new skyscraper across the nook.

The US titan, which has round 550 attorneys and workers in London, confirmed it can turn into a significant occupier of a newly constructed constructing at 40 Leadenhall Road. The agency will transfer into the 23-storey web site, dubbed ‘Gotham City’, upon its completion.

The deal means Kirkland will vacate its Instagrammable home at 30 St Mary Axe, extra generally often called the ‘The Gherkin’, after 15 years.
